Custom cabinets in Anthem

Anthem homeowners tend to stay put, so we design cabinetry for the next twenty years in the house. It's easier to reach and kinder on the hands, and it still looks like a beautiful kitchen.

Including Sun City Anthem, Anthem Country Club and Anthem Highlands.

Built for staying

Anthem sits in the hills at the south end of Henderson, and much of it was built around the turn of the century: the Del Webb homes of Sun City Anthem, the guard-gated golf estates of Anthem Country Club, and the neighborhoods of Anthem Highlands. Many owners bought here planning to stay a long time. That changes what a good kitchen is.

The goal isn’t an “accessible kitchen.” It’s a beautiful kitchen where nothing you use every day requires bending, kneeling, climbing or a second person. Done in the design phase, those choices are invisible. Added later, they look like add-ons.

What we design in

Drawers, not shelves. Deep, full-extension drawers under the counter bring pots, dishes and pantry goods to you. Nothing hides at the back of a low cabinet.

The comfort zone. Everyday items belong between hip and shoulder height. We move dishes from high uppers into drawers or a pantry wall, and use pull-down shelving or lift-up doors for the upper storage that remains.

Appliances at the right height. A wall oven set so the door opens near counter height, a microwave drawer instead of an over-range unit, and a dishwasher raised slightly where the layout allows. Each one removes a daily bend.

A seated work spot. A section of counter lowered for prep or a vanity with knee space lets you sit while you work, now or later.

Hardware and light. D-shaped pulls instead of small knobs are easier on the hands. Interior and under-cabinet lighting help aging eyes, and a toe-kick light makes a safe path at night.

Beyond the kitchen

The same thinking applies through the house: vanities at comfort height with drawers rather than doors, closets with pull-down hanging rods and drawers in place of high shelves, laundry rooms with storage lifted off the floor, and garage cabinets that end the ladder trips to the top shelf.

Low maintenance is part of the brief

Cabinets you won’t have to fuss over matter as much as cabinets you can reach. Anthem’s hillside homes take strong sun through big view windows, and Las Vegas water leaves mineral rings on anything it sits on. We choose finishes that resist fading and wipe clean, keep sink-base interiors moisture-tolerant, and build doors to stay flat in very dry air, so the kitchen still opens smoothly years from now without a service call.

The first conversation happens at your kitchen table: how you cook, what you reach for, what’s already hard to reach. From there you get drawings and a fixed quote before anything is built. Book a free design visit.

Anthem FAQ

Before you call.

What does "aging-in-place" cabinetry actually mean?

Cabinets designed so everything you use often sits between hip and shoulder height and can be reached without bending, kneeling or a step stool. In practice that means drawers instead of base shelves, pull-down wall storage, appliances at counter height and lighting inside cabinets. It's done in the design, so it doesn't look clinical.

Will accessible cabinets hurt my resale value?

Not when they're designed well. Deep drawers, a wall oven at a comfortable height and good lighting are features buyers of every age want. We avoid anything that reads as institutional.

Can you design for a wheelchair or walker?

Yes. We can plan knee space under a sink or prep area, a lowered counter section, wider clearances between runs and controls within reach. Tell us during the design visit and we'll lay it out around your needs.

Do you work inside Sun City Anthem and Anthem Country Club?

Yes. Sun City Anthem and the Country Club both run their own gate and contractor policies, and we plan each visit around them, including quieter work hours where the community asks for them.

How far is your shop from Anthem?

Roughly 35 minutes from our North Las Vegas factory. If a drawer needs adjusting after install, it's a short trip, not a shipping claim.
